Assign Character Roles
Each one of your guests will play a role. Make sure that you assign a story character to every guest on your lists. For better preparation, send the character description in advance so your guests have the time to read their character description and prepare for the role. 
Plan the menu and decorate
Creating an atmosphere for your events is one of the most important steps in creating the perfect murder mystery party.
